A National Celebration of Excellence and Service
Administrative Professionals Day is BAAP’s flagship celebration — a meaningful time set aside each year to recognize, honor, and uplift the administrative professionals who power organizations across The Bahamas. More than a single event, APD is anchored within Administrative Professionals Week, a series of activities that celebrate both professional excellence and community connection.
During the 2024 observance, BAAP members participated in several impactful engagements that reflected the heart of the association. The week included a courtesy visit to the Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Cynthia Pratt, acknowledging the vital role administrative professionals play and highlighting the importance of mentorship and service. A worship service at Calvary Deliverance Church further reinforced BAAP’s values of faith, reflection, and unity within the profession.
The week culminated in the Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon, hosted at SuperClubs Breezes. Members, guests, and supporters gathered for an afternoon of celebration, fellowship, and inspiration. Guest speaker Pastor Mario Moxey delivered a timely and uplifting message titled “Pursuing Success Through Courage with Teamwork,” encouraging attendees to embrace resilience, collaboration, and purpose in their professional lives.
Administrative Professionals Day represents BAAP at its fullest — blending recognition, inspiration, spirituality, and community. It is a proud reminder that administrative professionals are not only essential to organizational success, but deserving of national appreciation, respect, and celebration.
